Accounting:Prepare budgets, forecasts and cash flows. Preparation of monthly P & L and balance sheet, month end adjusting journal entries. Familiar with cash or accrual based record keeping. Fixed asset reporting.
Bookkeeping:Handle all aspects of accounts receivable and accounts payable. Reconciling of bank accounts and other liability accounts. Prepare excise tax returns for Department of Revenue. Manage payroll in house or through a payroll service. Prepare reporting as necessary for municipalities, ESD and L & I. Track PTO as needed for employees.
Human Resources:Serve as employee benefit plan administrator, conversant with federal, state and local laws related to wage and hours regulations and reporting. Update/draft job descriptions, track employee PTO, review compensation, maintain personnel files, payroll, tax reporting, staff orientation, retirement plans, employee handbook, compliance of policies and procedures. Familiar with COBRA and FMLA regulations.
Risk Management:Maintain adequate property and liability insurance coverage. Monitor compliance with GAAP, ensure appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained.
